Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Please use our printable registration form to reserve your child's place in class. Full payment is due with your registration. Please print and mail your registration form with payment. There is a one time registration fee of $20 for new families.
A full refund will be given if you withdraw before the first day of the semester. Like most programs, we cannot normally refund or give credit for classes missed during the semester, even if absences have been frequent. Nonetheless, at the discretion of the director, partial credit may be provided toward future classes in cases of prolonged absence due to sever illness, or other unusual circumstances.
If you miss your regularly scheduled class for any reason, you may schedule a make-up class. Two make-up classes are allowed each semester for each registered child, on a space-available basis. They must be taken during the current semester and cannot be "carried over." You may schedule your make-up class as soon as you know you are going to miss a class. We often see an end-of-semester rush, so try to schedule your make-ups as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you know that you will be absent from your class weeks in advance, please tell your child's teacher as this will allow for extra make-up people in your class. If you know you will not be attending a previously scheduled make-up class, please cancel it so the spot becomes available for another family. If you have registered for a make-up class that you cannot attend and you do not call to cancel before 8:00 a.m, the morning of, this will count as a make-up for you and your child.
Holiday closures will be announced at the beginning of each semester. Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher illness, and for other extraordinary circumstances. In the case of inclement weather, please call 908-872-7949 or check our website homepage for class cancellation information. we will also send out an e mail. Should your class be cancelled because of teacher illness or for some other extraordinary circumstances, you will be notified by phone. cancelled classes will be made up at the end of the session.
The health of all classroom participants is important to us, so we take measures to ensure the cleanliness of our classroom space, instruments, and materials after each class with a child-safe cleaning solution. sanitizing wipes are available in class, and we ask caregivers to clean instruments after they have been mouthed.
If you or your child is sick, please stay home from class and schedule a make-up.
Please turn off cell phone ringers (vibrate is acceptable) during class time. cell phone use during class time is not permitted. In case of emergencies, please step out of the classroom to accept the call. Please do not text friends and family during class time.
Siblings and Other guests
Parent,s grandparents, and caregivers are welcome to attend class at any time. Family music-making at home is extremely valuable to your child's music development, and attending class occasionally helps family members feel more comfortable joining in. If you would like to bring another guest (including an older sibling who may be home from school), please call us to arrange this. Visitation spots are provided on a first come, first served basis and are not always available.
